The Carter 2909 - TR go-kart was available with the buyer's option of a 9 Hp electric start Tecumseh OHV engine or a 9 Hp recoil start (pull start) engine. In addition, the 2909 - TR used 16x6.50-6 front tires and 18x9.50-8 rear tires. Although the Tecumseh engines are no longer being produced, we offer replacement 6.5 Hp engines and parts that can be adapted to work on your Carter go-kart.
