The wireless remote key Fob for the Drive ZooMe Auto-Flex scooter may be used in lieu of the standard "push & turn" key. Remote key fobs have been used for a few years now in the automotive industry but are still relatively rare with mobility scooters.
Note: This remote must be synched to the scooter before using it the first time. The proceedure depends on the WiFi version installed on your scooter. First you must determine whether you have the newer "Red Bar" or the older "Yellow Bar" WiFi reciever by looking below the seat.
What battery goes in the remote for the zoomie autoflex?
If you have the new style that is featured in the photo, it uses two CR2016 Batteries. If you have the old style, with the "A" & "B" buttons next to each other (rather than one above the other like on the new style), that remote would take one 12v 27A battery.
It was so easy to link the remote control to the scooter.

The new key fob is working fine. The only problem I had was the length of time it was on back order. Nevertheless, I'm thankful Monster Scooter could supply us this essential gizmo when the original had failed after getting wet.
