The little throttle cable return spring for the Monster Moto / Mega Moto MM-K80 80cc go-kart is a far more important go-kart part than its diminutive size would indicate. A good spring keeps the throttle from being stuck in the full open mode, a very dangerous state of affairs to be sure. To stay safe, you should check the spring occasionally, and replace any damaged, rusty, or broken spring. In addition, this helical spring helps the engine run smoother with less unnecessary revving and jerky motion.

Note: This is the throttle cable return spring and should not be confused with the throttle pedal return spring. They are not interchangeable.
