The throttle pedal return spring for the Monster Moto / Mega Moto MM-K80 80cc go-kart maintains the accelerator (or gas pedal) at a constant tension. Without this spring the pedal would simply flop about willy-nilly, or worse, be stick at full power.

Note: This is the throttle pedal return spring and should not be confused with the throttle cable return spring. They are not interchangeable.
