- Note A: Our 79cc engine may not be a direct bolt-on replacement without minor modifications such as re-drilling the motor mounts so everything lines up correctly, but rest assured it can mounted without too much work.

It can be more than a little frustrating when you come to find out that the Baja Motorsports engine you are looking for has been discontinued by the manufacturer. This used to mean that the days of riding your beloved Baja Doodle Bug would be over. Not anymore thanks to the geniuses at Monster Scooter Parts.
Though this is a 79cc engine and the original a 97cc, the horsepower is ironically the same, so you should not notice any loss of power. Do note that as this is not a direct replacement from Baja, you may need to re-drill the mounting holes in your mini-bike frame so everything lines up correctly. A little extra work to install, yes, but it sure beats having your Baja Doodle Bug (Blitz, Dirt Bug, Racer) sitting and rusting by the side of the house.
This is a replacement 3.0 Hp mini bike engine for the Baja Motorsports Baja Doodle Bug (Blitz, Dirt Bug, Racer). The original 97cc Baja branded 2.8 Hp engine is no longer available and has been discontinued. We have verified that this 79cc 3.0 Hp engine can be used on the Baja Doodle Bug (Blitz, Dirt Bug, Racer). Multiple images of both engines are shown to provide as much detail as possible. This item is for one 79cc 3.0 Hp mini bike engine.
