This hub motor is made in three wattage versions, 250W, 350W, and 500W. Dimensionally all three hub motor/front wheel assemblies are identical, and all three wattage options sport an 8-1/2"x2" inner tube and pneumatic tire with a low-siped street tread perfect for the city pavement. One version of the 500W comes with a sharp-looking red trim around the rim, plus the 250W version comes in your choice of pneumatic or flat-free honeycomb tire options.

If you need a replacement hub motor and front wheel assembly for the Xiaomi Mi M365 electric scooter you have found the right page. This hub motor is made in three wattage versions, 250 Watts, 350 Watts, and 500 Watts. Dimensionally all three hub motor/front wheel assemblies are identical, and all three wattage options offer a choice of 8-1/2"x2" tires.

Your standard hub motors come with a traditional air-filled pneumatic tire together with an inner tube, or you may select your motor with a flat-free honeycomb style tire. The choice is yours to make and both tire styles have a low-siped "street tread" that is perfect for the hard urban pavement.

The hub motor/wheel assembly is an old idea that is enjoying a new renaissance of popularity. Without a separate rim or other superfluous parts, these hub motor/drive wheel units allow lightweight power in a small package. Combined with 21st century Lithium battery technology, the hub motor system has revolutionized the realm of electric scooters.

Note: These may also be compatible with M365 clones such as the rental scooters used by Bird, Lyft, Spin, and others.

Questions

Can replace the hub my xiaomi came with and use the 500 watt one? And I do the second to rear?
Do I need to do a software update as well?
What other options/upgrades can I do with this scooter? Solid tire? A better controller?
Thank you,
Michael
Unfortunately, we would not have that information. We have three hub motor options and we know that these use a mother board in place of a traditional controller. As a parts dealer only, we do not handle any operational modifications or software updates for Xiaomi scooters. We would recommend reaching out to the manufacturer of your unit or conducting independent research to see if any sort of modification can be done to your scooter.

We have a few tire options located at the following link:

Is the 500w motor rated 500w nominal or peak power? If it's rated 500w nominal what is the peak power of of the 500w motor?
Unfortunately, the manufacturer has not provided us with that information. This 500w hub motor will be a direct replacement for the original 500w hub motor used on some of these scooters, so it will have the same specifications as the original.
If mine is 250 watt can I replace with a 500 watt? And will this make it faster?
We are unable to advise on modifications outside of OEM specifications for safety reasons. We'd recommend reaching out to the manufacturer, a local scooter repair shop, or performing further independent research to see if that modification is feasible.
What connector is the hall effect sensors using?
It looks like the 5-pin 5-wire connector (the farthest left connector in the third image on this item page) would be the one that goes to the Hall Effect Sensor.
Could you please tell me the exact weight of each of the motors (500w, 350w and 250w)? Thank you!
The 250w motor is 6.65 lbs and both the 350w and the 500w motors weigh 6.85 lbs.
