The minimum recommended battery size for this kit is two 12 volt 10 amp hour batteries. Larger 12 volt batteries can be used to fit your application and to provide longer run times.
24 Volt 900 Watt Electric Motor with 11 Tooth Chain Sprocket (Currie Technologies)

Twist Grip Throttle with 4 Wires
This universal 4-wire twist grip throttle is compatible with all scooters and electric products that use a variable speed throttle and a controller with a 3-wire throttle connector.. For situations where a half grip throttle would be more appropriate, we recommend this version of the kit. This half-grip throttle may have an optional fourth blue or yellow wire and be marked as either 24V or 36V. The superfluous wire is for the optional battery level meter and is not used in three wire throttle and controller applications. The three wire throttle configuration can be used on any voltage controller, including 18 volt, 24 volt, 36 volt, or 48 volt controllers.
All scooter controllers require a switch
, (joined to the "Lock" connector on the controller wires), in order to complete the electrical circuit.
