The gearbox features a 3:1 reduction (the clutch drum turns three times in order to rotate the sprocket fully one turn), and comes complete with a 14-tooth, 8 mm chain sprocket.
We offer this fine little gearbox transmission in your choice of color options. You can select a top-notch black wrinkle finish, or a silver-gray powder coat finish. Both options would look good on just about any 40cc or 47cc powersports machine.

How many gears?
This has a 3:1 ratio.
Does it make it go any faster or quicker or anything like that?
No, this part would not make your unit run faster. Unless listed as a high performance part, everything we provide is a suitable OEM quality replacement and will run as originally intended.
If the engine shaft turns counter clockwise will the trans gear turn clockwise?
The transmission gear will turn in the same directional rotation as the engine shaft.
Are there any more parts needed?
That might depend on what parts you already have. You may need mounting hardware to install it, the clutch, and/or the chain. There could be other parts needed, but that will depend on what parts you already have. Feel free to give us a call at 1-800-798-0325 for further assistance.
Does it come complete with chain inside?
This does not come with the chain.
