Description

Capacitor discharge ignition (CDI) module (ignitor) for gas scooters, ATVs, dirt bikes, and go karts with 4-Stroke GY6/QMB139 or Honda-style engines. This CDI is equipped with a 6 pin square connector with the pins arranged horizontally.

Please study the photo before ordering.

This CDI is equipped with a "rev limiter", which limits the RPMs (speed), of the engine.

Commonly used on Baja Motorsports, Honda, Roketa & SunL scooters and ATVs.

Note: 4-stroke and 2-stroke engines require different engine timing. Though they may appear visually similar, a CDI module from a 4-stroke engine cannot be interchanged with a CDI module from a 2-stroke engine.

Bike was quitting on me and not starting until cooled down. Decided to replace this and the coil to eliminate that possibility. For 10 bucks it's worth it. So far no problems on intermittent drives.
