Throttle cables exploit tension and leverage to manually direct a user’s input from their hand (or foot) to the carburetor. That’s a fancy way of saying that twisting the ATV's throttle or dirt bike's throttle opens the carburetor choke. When that throttle cable is broken or damaged, the carburetor can open too much or not enough while throttling. Replace a damaged throttle cable with Monster Scooter Parts and you’ll be off-roading again in no time.
Most throttle cables are universal, but please have your original off-road throttle cable or ATV throttle cable available to make the selection easier. The most important factors are the length of the cable (measured along the entire sleeve) and the end piece connectors.
