The 5K Ohm throttle potentiometer (throttle pot) for the Pride Laser, Legend, and Maxima is used for throttle control (forward and reverse.)

Note: This potentiometer is only available without the harness, we strongly recommend soldering the wiring for a proper connection. A patient mechanic with perfect eyesight might be able to thread the wires through the connector loops and crimp them securely, however we discourage this in lieu of proper soldering.

The "with harness" assembly has been discontinued by Pride Mobility.

This throttle potentiometer (also known as a throttle pot) mounts on the tiller assembly. Mounting must be vertically, with the shaft positioned up or down depending on your scooter's throttle configuration.

This throttle potentiometer is designed specifically for Pride mobility scooters. However, 5K potentiometer assemblies are the most commonly used throttle pots and may also be compatible with many other brands of mobility scooters. If used on models other than Pride Mobility models please check the detailed specifications to ensure the proper fit of the throttle pot mounting bracket and length of the shaft.

Note: This throttle pot is serial number specific. It is only compatible with the number range of the following models:

Legend (SC300): Applicable to serial number S0930501001029 and prior for 3-wheel Legend scooters, and serial number S1030501001029 and prior for 4-wheel Legend scooters

Maxima (SC900/SC940): Applicable to serial number S5605313001M09 and prior for 3-wheel Maxima scooters, and serial number S5717513001M09 and prior for 4-wheel Maxima scooter

If your Pride Legend or Maxima scooter has a serial number after to those listed above you will want to order the Throttle Pot for the Pride Legend (SC300) & Maxima (SC900/SC940).
