Our PF2404SL battery charger can be used with VRLA/SLA/AGM/Gel batteries.
LED Indicators:Green (connected to batteries) - Batteries fully charged
Red (connected to batteries) - Batteries charging
No light - Battery disconnected or battery voltage less than 5 volts
Note: If the "Charge" LED remains red for more than 24 hours, unplug the charger from AC power and check the batteries. There may be a problem with the batteries. Customer service was great.Unfortunately, this particular replacement item was returned because it was not compatible.Will definitely continue using Monster Scooter in the future for all my wheelchair needs; Great Company!

It worked like a CHAMP! Only thing is, there is no mounting plate or place to screw it down. Had to use ZIP ties

Does not fit inside base cavity. Had to attach it via ty raps to outside frame. Charger works fine though.

works great, easy plug in. This charger is a replacement for one that failed under warranty. Monster Scooter Parts was easy to work with and that part of the process was a breeze.
Installation is a big pain in the butt. On the chair that we have (Jazzy Select 14XL) I have to remove the seat, remove the cowl, take out the batteries and then turn the chassis over to get to two screws that hold the rear cover in place. After that it's easier going but still have stuff to unplug and move out of the way. Then there are 4 screws that mount the charger to a plate at the rear and the nuts are loose. If the manufacturer had used captive nuts (either caged or welded in place) the whole operation would be a lot quicker.
