Description

A Monster Scooter Parts exclusive! Our XLR charging cord extension kit is one of those "hey, why didn't I think of that" products that we did indeed think of for our customers who are tired of having to bend down to plug their scooter's charger into the battery box charging port. The kit consists of a 6' cord with the correct XLR male and female connectors, as well as four (two 6" and two 12") hook & loop straps that you can use to secure the cord snug and out of the way.

The modern electric scooter has brought better mobility to thousands of people, but most use a battery charging port that is way down under the seat or on the back of the battery box. Bending down to connect or unplug the battery charger's power cord to the XLR receptacle isn't the best thing that you can be doing for your back muscles, especially if you are not as nimble as you once were. After you plug this XLR charging cord extension into your scooter's charger port, you can simply wrap the cord around the seat post, up and around your armrest, and have the extended port right where you want it. Yes, our extension kit makes it just that easy.

Note: This cord extension kit is only compatible with scooter models using off-board chargers with the common 3-pin XLR connector. In addition, the extension goes from your battery charger to your scooter's charging port (or socket). It is NOT an extension power cord for use between your charger and a wall outlet.

Questions

I HAVE A 8 YEARY OLD JAZZY SELECT POWER CHAIR, AND I HAUL IT ON THE BACK OF MY CAR ON A HOLDER. DO YOU SELL THOSE COVERS THAT COVER THE ELECTRICAL AND JOY STICK TO PROTECT IT FROM RAIN AND IF YOU DO , WHAT IS THE PRICE . JOE J , please advise thank you
We have a variety of covers that may suit your needs, but here are 2 options to consider:

Joystick Cover - https://www.monsterscooterparts.com/joystick-cover-power-chairs.html

Heavy Duty Power Chair Cover - https://www.monsterscooterparts.com/heavy-duty-powerchair-weathercover-with-slits.html

If you go with the second option (the full cover) the sizes Large, Extra Large, and Super should fit your unit but we would recommend double checking your Jazzy's measurements just to be sure.

I purchased one. For it to work I had to purchase a 2nd one. One to the battery & one to the power cord.

Actually 2 of these units are needed. The battery & motor cable are both at the bottom of the scooters. To unplug/replug, both connections need to be brought up to the arm.

It has a very flexible cord, has good connectors, and gives an excellent and smooth fit when plugging it into my Permobil R-Net controller even while seated in my chair which was previously tricky at best. 2 thumbs up
