Description

When your fun machine's drive system needs a replacement centrifugal clutch, please consider this 12 tooth heavy duty clutch assembly with a 1" bore and a #35 chain sprocket for go-karts and mini bikes. This strong and robust clutch assembly makes a superb replacement for a tired and worn out unit, or an essential component of a custom motorsports project.

The 1" bore allows this clutch to work with gas engines larger than 6.5 Hp. In addition, the 12 tooth drive sprocket is made for use with the common #35 chain size. A 1/4" keyway slot and pair of set screws secures the clutch to your 'kart or bike's shaft.

Note: If you need a replacement pair of set screws, you will need our M10x1.00 x 10mm Set Screws for Heavy Duty Go-Kart & Mini Bike Clutch Collars (Set of 2).

Questions

Where do or how you oil the clutch?
You can put a few drops of oil at a time behind the snap ring, next to the sprocket teeth at the end of the clutch. There's an internal bronze bushing behind the snap ring that requires lubrication. The engine needs to be off and the bronze bushing should be warm. With that being said DO NOT put oil inside the clutch. The holes on the drum are to let the hot air out of the clutch. When oil gets in the drum portion of the clutch it will cause excessive slippage, which means undue heat will be generated.
Will it fit a 420 chain?
This will not fit a 420 chain as it is a #35 chain sprocket.
