The 196cc 6.5 Hp (Honda GX200 Clone) engine is a compatible replacement for the original 196cc 6.5 Hp powered Baja Mini Bike (Baja Heat, Mini Baja, Baja Warrior), models MB165 and MB200. This is the same style of engine as the MB200 200cc engine with a different pull start shroud.

PLEASE NOTE:
As with any aftermarket replacement engine, this little powerhouse was designed to replace the factory-installed engines on a wide range of brands, models, and powersports types. Our 196cc engine may not be a direct bolt-on replacement without a few minor modifications or re-drilling the motor mounts so that everything lines up correctly, but rest assured it can be made to work with a just little DIY elbow grease. Perhaps a little extra work to install, but it sure beats having your mini bike sitting and rusting away by the side of the house.

In addition, the throttle mechanism on your old engine may need to be saved to be re-used and installed on this high-quality aftermarket replacement engine.

This "Honda Clone GX200" engine has almost endless applications in addition to the Baja Mini Bikes, such as go-karts, generators and custom projects.

Note: This is a replacement 6.5 Hp mini bike engine for both Baja Motorsports Mini Bikes MB165 & MB200. The original 196cc Baja branded 6.5 Hp engine is no longer available and has been discontinued. We have test fit and verified that this upgraded 196cc 6.5 Hp engine is compatible with both Baja Motorsports models.
