Our 24 volt 5.0 amp XLR EA1148D 24BC5000T-4 AGM/Gel battery charger from Universal Power Group (UPG) is an excellent way to keep your Jazzy 600 ES, Elite 14, Elite HD, or J6 power chair fully charged up and ready to go. Unlike most battery chargers, this charger is suitable for use on both standard AGM and Gel cell batteries. A convenient switch on the charger allows you to shift from one to the other. In addition to the Jazzy models mentioned, this handy battery charger may be used on a huge variety of power chair and mobility scooter brands and models.

The 24 volt 5.0 amp XLR connector battery charger from UPG is suitable for the 17 Ah batteries or larger that are used on mobility scooters and power chairs equipped with an off-board charging female XLR socket. They use a convenient automatic shut off when the charging cycle is complete. Note that your charging time may vary depending on how depleted or drained down your battery is.

Fully compatible as a replacement for model HP8204B battery charger. Automatic shut off when battery charging is complete. Charging time varies greatly with level of battery depletion.

Note: The selector switch must be set to GEL or AGM depending on the battery type to be charged.

Please note that the instructions you receive with this battery charger may state "suitable for lead acid batteries only." Do not be confused by this. AGM and GEL batteries are both forms of sealed "lead acid" batteries. Therefore, this battery charger is fully compatible with both AGM and GEL batteries, although it is optimized for use with AGM batteries.

Note: As a built-in safety feature, the battery charger will not operate if the existing battery has less than 18 volts of power.
