Description

In an effort to provide you with the most affordable options, Monster Scooter Parts brings you another great deal on mobility parts. Depending on the caster wheel set that you choose, you can save up to $100! You can get a brand new Universal 8"x2" (200x50) caster wheel with 608Z bearings and save money at Monster Scooter Parts.

If you are confused about caster wheels, you are certainly not alone. Most mobility companies use caster wheel assemblies that look nearly identical to most every other mobility company's product. Adding to the confusion are the wildly different costs associated with some brands; even for different models within a brand that only differs in the most minor cosmetic details.

In an effort to cut through the confusion and provide our customers with the most affordable options, we can offer any of these five caster wheel assemblies at substantial savings. Depending on the scooter or power chair model, you may be able to save as much as $100 or more per wheel.

  • Style A: is a gray polyurethane tire mounted on a black 6 spoke rim.
  • Style B: is a BLACK polyurethane tire mounted on a black 6 spoke rim.
  • Style C: is a gray polyurethane tire mounted on a black 5 spoke rim.
  • Style D: is a gray foam-filled tire mounted on a black split rim.
  • Style E: is a black pneumatic tire mounted on a black split rim.

  • All caster wheels come with pre-installed 608Z (also known as 608ZZ) or 608RS bearings, and are ready to mount on your mobility scooter or power chair.

We have tested these five caster wheels, not only with each other, but with a host of other name-brand casters and we have verified their complete compatibility. Again; all of these five styles are fully interchangeable with one another. If your mobility scooter or power chair model uses 200x50 caster wheels with 608Z bearings, then any of these five styles will work for you, AND save you money! At Monster Scooter Parts, we listen to you. We strive to bring you what you want and we do it without breaking your budget.

A note on tire types: No matter what the rim (or hub) style, there are really only three different types of tires used on mobility caster wheel assemblies; traditional air-filled pneumatic, foam-filled (FF), and solid polyurethane (PU).

  • Pneumatic tires include an inner tube and offer the smoothest ride with the least vibration.
  • Foam-filled tires are usually standard pneumatic designs, but instead of an inner tube they come with a hard rubbery foam "doughnut" insert.
  • Polyurethane tires are made as a solid casting of thick, rubber-like material with the tread molded on. Totally impervious to punctures or flats, polyurethane (or PU) tires offer flat-free, worry-free dependability.

  • These caster wheel assemblies will work on any electric mobility power chair or manual wheelchair that uses the common 200x50 tire size and 608Z (also called 608ZZ) bearings. In addition, this size may be used as the front (non-drive) wheel on a number of popular mobility scooter models. Be sure of your tire and bearing size before ordering.

The valve stem sticks out to much had to put a few washers on it to space it so it wouldn't hit when wheel turns
