Questions

Chain: Is the '05T' the 'gauge' ? I recently purchased a new 8mm open chain on ebay but the links did not line up with my custom 8mm sprocket. Vendor says its 8mm but... Is this '05T' a slightly diff size? Thanks Andrew
There are two types of 8mm chain; and the difference is in the ending of the size. There is 05T, and 05B.

05T is the more common chain, with a roller width of 4.61mm and a roller diameter of 4.71mm.

The 05B chain has a smaller roller width of 3mm and a roller diameter of 5mm.

Quite likely, you may need the 8mm 05B chain, which is a size we sadly no longer carry.
