This Razor control module and throttle bundle can be used on all versions of the Razor Ground Force Drifter Go-kart.
The included HB2430-TYD6K-FS controller and 6-wire variable speed twist grip throttle are the OEM parts used on versions 3 and up of the Razor Ground Force Drifter Go-kart (GFD Fury). However, this bundle can also be used to retrofit versions 1-2 of the Drifter, making this bundle a universal fit for ALL versions of the Ground Force Drifter and Drifter Fury go-karts.
Why would you want to retrofit your version 1 or 2 Ground Force Drifter Go Kart with this bundle? Because unfortunately, the original OEM control module used on versions 1-2 of this model has been discontinued by Razor and is no longer available. Luckily, the only difference between the controller used on versions 1-2 and the new one used on versions 3 and up is that the older controller was designed to be used with a 4-wire throttle while the newer controller is designed to work with a 6-wire throttle. By replacing the controller and throttle at the same time, you are ensured a perfect retrofit for your older version 1-2 Razor Ground Force Drifter.
Because this bundle includes a matching control module and throttle, it can be used on any version of the Razor Ground Force Drifter Go-Kart.

Model versions can be determined based on the product ID code on your Razor product. The Drifter Go Kart 19-digit ID can be found on the rectangular white sticker underneath the frame, on the battery cover, or on the original battery charger. The 7th and 8th numbers in your product ID code are the version number of your Razor product (e.g. "01" = Version 1, "02" = Version 2, "09" = Version 9, etc.).
