This 24 volt 250 watt MY1016 electric motor includes an 11 tooth #25 chain sprocket and is compatible with a wide variety of Razor and Dynacraft scooter models. Please see the Compatibility page for a complete listing of compatible scooter models.

This 24 volt electric motor is capable of rotation in either the clockwise or counterclockwise direction by reversing the motor's power wires.

Questions

Can this motor be used as a generator to create DC electricity? I would like to create a bicycle generator to power my television at night, so I get exercise while watching my LED TV. I live off grid and have a battery bank I would like to trickle charge with this in the evenings. I already have an inverter, just need a motor for the exercise bike. Thanks, Mark
We do not have the information on if any of the scooter motors create DC energy. We carry them as replacements for scooters only, and do not have custom build information unfortunately.
