Description
This throttle potentiometer (throttle pot) assembly fits the second-generation Golden Technologies Companion I and II scooters: GC240, GC340 and GC440. The throttle pot, sometimes called the engager or throttle switch, controls forward and reverse. A failing pot can cause jerky motion while you press the lever, and eventually no movement at all.
Choose the version with harness, which comes complete with the throttle pot, "wig-wag" lever, bracket and pre-attached wiring with a 3-wire connector, or buy the pot alone and attach your own wiring. If you choose the "without harness" option, we strongly recommend soldering the wires for a proper connection rather than crimping them through the connector loops.
Check your model: This part only fits the GC240, GC340 and GC440. The older Companion scooters (GC221, GC321 and GC421) use the Throttle Pot Assembly (Type 2) for the Golden Technologies Companion II (GC221, GC321, GC421).
