Key for Ranger, Heartway, and EV Rider Scooters (KEYSCO1000)

Exactly what I wanted at a reasonable price.

I had called my scooter manufacturing company multiple times in 6 weeks for a replacement key. Each time I was assured they would get back to me in a day or two, and each time they first transferred me to another number or person or even company even though I was calling the correct place and asked for the Parts dept. $60 for two keys, even though I only needed one. The website said they were in stock, but . . . No one ever called me back. They said they had a record of every time I called and kept assuring me I get a call. Never did. Finally after 6 weeks I stopped calling them. I called a local mobility sales and repair company near me to see if they could make me a key (they were closed due to the Eaton Fire) and they recommended I try Monster Scooter parts, which I'd never heard of. Monster had a key listed for $12 that looked "sort of" like it might work although it said it would fit "Ranger, Heartway, and EV Rider Scooters" without naming any particular models. I was very skeptical since no model was named. But desperate since I was leaving for a cross country trip in a month, I ordered the key online, pretty much expecting nothing. I was surprised that within a short time (maybe about a week) the package arrived. The key looked huge to me, emphasizing my doubt that it would work. I let a couple days pass. Finally I connected my scooter battery, put the key in, and nearly jumped. The power light lit up. I pushed the forward control. My scooter rolled forward! They key worked! I loved the long key they sent with the long "Monster" tag attached. THIS one will not fall out of my pocket without my knowing it and be lost. Thank you, Monster Scooter Parts! I'll have to thank the sales and repair store near me that recommended you, and also give that store more business.
