SHIPPING POLICY

Shipping rates are calculated at check-out based on current shipping rate tables, destination zip code, and order weight.

Orders typically ship from our facility within 1-2 business days (Monday - Friday excluding holidays) after the order is placed. However, longer order processing times may occur during busy times, especially during summer months. We cannot guarantee processing times unless special arrangements are agreed to in advance. Orders will be updated with tracking information when available.

UPS Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, & 3 Day Select:
Orders must be received by 12:00 noon Eastern Time for all UPS expedited shipping services (Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, & 3 Day Select). All orders received after 12:00 noon ET will be considered received on the next business day. These shipping options do not include Saturday service. Time guarantees include business days only (Monday - Friday excluding holidays). Please visit the UPS website for a list of holidays observed by UPS.

USPS Priority Mail & UPS Ground:
USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground are typically the most cost-effective shipping methods for most items in our store when shipping within the U.S.

USPS First-Class Mail:
USPS First-Class Mail is restricted to packages with a total weight of 13 oz. or less. All orders over 13 oz. will receive a "shipping restriction" error message and will require that a different shipping method be chosen.

International Shipping: UPS international shipping methods require that you pay all customs and brokerage fees at the time you receive your package before the package is released to you. On the other hand, USPS international shipping methods include all fees.

RETURN POLICY

All returns must be accompanied by a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. To obtain an RMA number, please complete and submit our RMA Request Form.

All RMA requests must be received within 15 calendar days of the date you received your order. All returned packages must have the RMA number clearly displayed on the outside of the packaging or on the shipping label. Returns received without an RMA number clearly displayed on the outside of the package will be refused and returned to sender.

RMA numbers are valid for 30 calendar days after issuance. You must return your item within 30 days after we issue your RMA number. Returns received more than 30 days after issuance of an RMA number will be refused.

All returned items are subject to a 15% restocking fee and must be in new, unused condition. No refunds or exchanges will be issued for used items. Refunds are for the item purchase price (minus restocking fee) only. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Return shipping is your responsibility.

All speed and voltage controllers (control modules/controllers), gasoline engines, CDI modules, rectifiers, and special order items are non-returnable.

All items returned to us by the shipping company (USPS, UPS, etc.) due to customer refusal, incorrect address entered by the customer at checkout, or any other reason beyond our control will be credited for the purchase price minus 15% restocking fee. Shipping will not be refunded. If an item is returned to us due to an incorrect address entered at the time of checkout and we must re-ship the item, customer will be responsible for the additional shipping charge.

WARRANTY POLICY

Sealed Lead-Acid (SLA) Batteries & Battery Packs

“Premium” or “Custom” Batteries & Battery Packs - MonsterScooterParts.com warrants to the original purchaser (user) that batteries designated as “Premium” or “Custom” shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 1 year from the date of receipt.

“OEM” Batteries & Battery Packs - Batteries and battery packs designated as “OEM” are covered by the following limited warranties:

- IBT/Minimoto Batteries - MonsterScooterParts.com warrants to the original purchaser (user) that batteries shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 6 months from the date of receipt.

- All Other “OEM” Batteries Including Currie, Razor, Pride, and Others - MonsterScooterParts.com warrants to the original purchaser (user) that batteries shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 30 days from the date of receipt.

If MonsterScooterParts.com determines the battery to be defective, we will ship replacement(s) without charge.

All battery and battery pack warranty claims are subject to the following conditions and limitations:

Conditions and Limitations

1. The battery shall be the proper size, design, and capacity for the application. Failure to use the proper battery for the application will void any and all warranties.
2. The battery shall be handled, stored, and installed properly. Final installation shall be completed no more than six months from the date of receipt.
3. The battery shall be operated in conjunction with a current limited, constant voltage charging system, and otherwise operated and maintained in accordance with instructions.
4. The user shall permit examination of the battery by a MonsterScooterParts.com company representative.
5. Only the remaining unused portion of the original battery's warranty shall apply to the replacement battery.
6. This warranty is void if the battery is subject to misuse, abuse, visible physical damage, or if the battery becomes unusable due to fire, wreckage, flooding, freezing, or any other acts of God.
7. The above stated warranties are in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness. In no event shall MonsterScooterParts.com be responsible for any incidental or consequential damages or loss. As stated herein, MonsterScooterParts.com shall not be liable for any defects in, or any breach of contracts relating to the quality or performance of the above equipment under any theory of law.
8. These limited warranties apply to the original purchaser (user) and are not transferable.
9. The user shall promptly notify MonsterScooterParts.com in the event of an alleged defect.

Battery Chargers

“Premium” Battery Chargers made by Universal Power Group - MonsterScooterParts.com warrants to the original purchaser (user) that battery chargers made by Universal Power Group shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 1 year from the date of receipt. This warranty applies to Universal Power Group brand battery chargers only. For all other "Premium" battery chargers, see below.

“OEM” or “Premium” Battery Chargers (Qili Power, Coming Data, High Power, and Others) - MonsterScooterParts.com warrants to the original purchaser (user) that battery chargers designated “Premium” or “OEM” shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 60 days from the date of receipt.

“Standard” Battery Chargers – MonsterScooterParts.com warrants to the original purchaser (user) that battery chargers designated “Standard” shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 30 days from the date of receipt.

If MonsterScooterParts.com determines the battery charger to be defective, we will ship replacement(s) without charge.

All battery chargers are subject to the following conditions and limitations:

Speed and Voltage Controllers (Control Modules), Gasoline Engines, CDI Modules, Rectifiers, and Special Order Items

All speed and voltage controllers (control modules), gasoline engines, CDI modules, rectifiers, and special order items are non-returnable and sold “as-is” without any expressed or implied warranty. Any other implied warranties on these parts including, but not limited to, merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are hereby disclaimed. In no event shall MonsterScooterParts.com be responsible for any incidental or consequential damages or loss. As stated herein, MonsterScooterParts.com shall not be liable for any defects in, or any breach of contracts relating to the quality or performance of the above equipment under any theory of law.

Electric Motor Kits

Only returnable items included in electric motor kits will be accepted in return. Speed and voltage controllers included in motor kits are not returnable and are sold as-is.

Unused and un-altered throttles and electric motors from motor kits will be subject to the standard store restocking fee and will be credited based on the current retail price of each item at the time of return.

This provision does not apply to electric bike conversion kits, which are returnable and subject to our standard store return policy.

All Other Store Items

MonsterScooterParts.com warrants to the original purchaser (user) that all other items not specifically identified on this warranty page shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 30 days from the date of receipt. This warranty does not provide for the return of used items due to incompatibility with your application. Under no circumstances do we accept returns of used items. Check your item for compatibility prior to installation and use.

If MonsterScooterParts.com determines your item to be defective, we will ship replacement(s) without charge.

All warranty claims for “other” store items are subject to the following conditions and limitations:

The User releases Monster Scooter Parts, it's officers, agents, sponsors, and employees from claims, demands, and damages (both actual and consequential), of every kind and nature, known and unknown, suspected and unsuspected, disclosed and undisclosed, arising out of or in any way connected with items purchased, or purchases made on or through this website.

Purchaser understands the nature of motor scooter riding and motorcycle related activities and acknowledges that Purchaser is qualified to operate said motor scooter, and is in proper physical condition to participate in such activity. Purchaser agrees to assume all risks when allowing others to operate Purchaser's scooter. If Purchaser is not familiar with the nature of motor scooter riding, Purchaser should seek professional training before operating a scooter.
