This throttle potentiometer, also known as a throttle pot, allows the user to control the forward and reverse movement of the scooter by way of a simple wig wag lever. A gentle push on the right side of the lever moves the scooter forward; left side for reverse. What could be more simple than that?

I had to return this part today. After replacing the original throttle pot, I installed this one only to discover that it does not fit in the housing. Then I noticed the part number on the invoice was not the exact part number I ordered, but either way, neither of them fit in the original elite traveler plus housing.
