We have the brake assembly for the Shoprider Streamer Sport and 6Runner 10 power chairs that were manufactured from 2006 until 2010. If your Streamer Sport was made after that year you will want the Brake Assembly for the Shoprider Streamer Sport (888WAB).

A power chair brake is designed to be durable, but brakes can get damaged or eventually wear out, especially those used primarily outdoors. This brake uses the regenerative braking system, sometimes referred to as an electro-mechanical dynamic scooter brake. When the operator releases the joystick, the brake automatically slows the power chair to a stop. In other words; the brake is "on" by default until the joystick is again engaged. This is what keeps an unattended chair from rolling away downhill.
