Questions

Are they waterproof
They are fairly weather resistant, but not completely waterproof. They would be fine if you are caught in a light rain and seek shelter fairly quickly, but would not be okay if you drive through a thunderstorm.



To increase the water resistance, you can always pick up a can of waterproofing spray at most big box stores. You can usually find some in the shoe department, or in the sporting goods and outdoors sections as well.

For the money it's rather flimsy. I would have liked to see it constructed out of heavier material. Also, the mounting instructions were - for me - rather ambiguous.
