Questions

Is it normal for the charge light to go from yellow to blinking green and then solid green? I can’t remember how many times it blinked. I want to say it blinked 3 times then solid, then blinked another 3 times and then stayed solid. Also how long does it take to charge batteries that are almost dead? I was only hooked up for roughly an hour and the charger did what I listed above. I doubt a full charge happens that fast. But my batteries are getting old, so maybe they have a low charge point. Thank you.
Yes, the LEDs will blink if there is a fault. It sounds like that's what's going on here - if your batteries are older and unable to maintain the proper voltage, the charger will be unable to charge them for safety reasons. To find out for sure if the issue is with the batteries, we'd recommend bringing the batteries to a local autoparts store such as Autozone, Walmart Automotive center, or somewhere like Batteries Plus and requesting a Load Test. The test should be a free service, so feel free to go elsewhere if they try to charge you. You'd be looking for a result of over 70% to indicate the batteries are healthy, anything under that would indicate the batteries are no longer healthy enough to support a charge and would need to be replaced.
