These are quite similar to the excellent Raptor Claw and Raptor Scale grips, but the flangeless design is about 25% longer than traditional grips and are a great choice on scooter with wider handlebars.

So why do we like the Raptor Tail grips so much? In a single word; durability. Most BMX type grips can wear out in a few weeks, but the Raptor's additional 1.5 mm of wall thickness (about 50% more than traditional grips) means that there is a lot more "meat" between your hands and the steel bar. That's a lot more shock absorbing too. The Raptor Tail come with screwable Nylon end plugs to keep the fit snug and textured horizontal ribs to fit your hands like they were part of your body. The extra length makes these grips perfect for wide bars.
