HISTORY Monster Scooter Parts began in April 2005. After years of selling motorized scooters, we realized that while there were many other online stores selling scooters, customers' replacement parts needs were drastically underserved. Although we had been selling a limited supply of replacement parts for some time, we believed a new website devoted only to scooter parts would be the best way to present a full parts inventory in an easy-to-use format. Starting in April 2005 with our humble parts inventory, we have continually added new parts every month. In addition, we have spent countless hours researching scooter models from all manufacturers to identify parts compatibility for these models. The result of this research can be found in our "Parts by Brand" sections which allow customers to select their specific model of scooter to view our inventory of parts available for that scooter. We believe this is one aspect of the Monster Scooter Parts shopping experience that sets us apart. Another thing that sets us apart is that we work with many different parts suppliers to bring our customers a wide range of replacement scooter parts for a variety of scooter brands. While there are some sites that offer OEM replacement parts and others that offer generic Chinese-made replacement parts, we strive to offer the best combination of both so that our customers are presented with a wider variety of options. In 2006, we realized there was a need for replacement parts for mobility scooters and power wheelchairs. While there are other sites that offer these parts, we found most of them to be confusing and difficult to navigate. Again, we spent countless hours researching all the major mobility scooter brands and identifying the proper replacement batteries and chargers required for each model. The result is an easy-to-use process of selecting the correct replacement parts for you. In January 2007, we moved to a new warehouse and office facility to allow us more room to expand our growing parts inventory. We also expanded our staff to provide faster parts shipping and even better customer service. After only nine months, we outgrew our new facility and moved once again in October 2007 to a facility four times larger than our previous location. The increased space allowed us to further expand our inventory selection and decrease our reliance on drop shipping of customer orders. We now ship 99% of all orders from our own facility, thus allowing us to ensure that all shipments are shipped out quickly and accurately. In November 2007, Monster Scooter Parts became an authorized provider of Pride Mobility scooters and replacement parts, giving us access to the entire inventory of replacement parts for Pride, Go-Go, Jazzy, and Jet mobility scooters and power chairs. In January 2008, we became an authorized parts and service provider for Baja Motorsports. Baja Motorsports products can be found at Pep Boys locations across the country. In March 2008, we became an authorized Razor USA service center. Razor USA products can be found at many retail locations, including Toys R' Us, Wal-Mart, and Target. During 2008, we continued to expand our selection of parts for mobility scooters. We became authorized dealers for Invacare and formed relationships with many additional aftermarket suppliers in order to widen our selection of parts and offer them at lower prices to our customers. We now have access to a wide variety of parts for mobility scooters and power wheelchairs. At the same time, we have continued to expand our inventory of street scooter parts by forming relationships with new suppliers and adding many new parts to our site, specializing parts for GY6 Chinese-made street scooters. In October 2008, we doubled our available warehouse space by leasing an additional warehouse unit. This additional warehouse space will allow us to continue to expand and stock more inventory to better meet the demands of our customers. In February 2009, we launched a brand new redesigned website with improved navigation which does a better job of dividing our three distinct product lines into separate sections. We are excited about the new website and feel it provides an enhanced shopping experience for our customers. In the future, we at Monster Scooter Parts plan to continue our efforts to present our customers with the best scooter parts shopping experience possible - for mobility, recreational, and street scooters.
