Description

If you have an electric power chair, then you know about the difficulties of using a vehicle hoist or power lift when there is a tarp or cover on the power chair. First, you have to remove the cover, hoist your power chair, replace the cover, and so on. Monster Scooter Parts makes it all easy with these heavy-duty weatherproof covers with access slits, allowing you to use a swing-down lift or hoist.

We off these dependable covers in four sizes to match your chair, and in two slit configurations to meet your hoist requirements. The Medium will fit fine on most of today's standard size chairs. A larger power chair requires a larger cover, and our Large size is made for wider, heavy duty machines. The X-Large is both wide and tall, and the Super Large is that and more. Our Super Large power chair cover is made especially for the heaviest bariatric power chairs. Please refer to the Specifications tab for more size detail and data, as well as the Compatibility tab for a list of some of the power chair models that our covers fit.

  • Medium: 38"H x 18"W x 44"L
  • Large: 38"H x 23"W x 44"L
  • X-Large: 48"H x 23"W x 44"L
  • Super Large: 48"H x 31"W x 44"L

  • We offer these heavy-duty power chair covers in four sizes to match your chair. Please refer to the Specifications tab above for the measurements.

In addition to the four different sizes, we also offer the covers in your choice of either a full back slit style or a top slit style. The full back slit works great for scooter lifts having a swing-down securing arm. They also have the convenience of letting you access the scooter's battery tray with the weatherproof tarp in place.

The top slit style features a 6" cut-out in the top with hook & loop secured flaps. This style allows the boom-crane & cable hoist style scooter lift to lift the power chair from its balance point without the weatherproof cover being in the way.

These covers are made from 600x300 polyester with PVC rubber backing, a superb assembly that keeps out the rain, snow, crud, and dust. With two styles choices in two sizes, it is a simple matter to find the perfect heavy-duty weather cover that still lets you use your vehicle lift.

    Features & Benefits:
  • 600x300 polyester with PVC rubber backing
  • Weatherproof
  • Strong and dependable
  • Easy to use and secure
  • 1" webbing belt
  • Reflective strip for visibility
  • Four sizes to cover any power chair

  • Note: If you use this cover to haul your power chair in the back bed of an open truck, then you will need to lash it down securely. A couple of bungee cords will do the trick. The bottom edge has a 1" webbing belt for this. What you do not want is for the cover to go flapping and flopping around in the wind as this will cause a lot of unnecessary wear & tear on the fabric.

    Questions

On the med size, does it come with 4 holes for the tie downs to my truck. I attach 4 binders to the lift points to secure my chair in the bed, not allowing to move around, so I need to get 4 slits for my tie downs to hook on the chair lift points while in the bed of the truck.
The bottom of the cover has multiple strap points around the edge for the webbing belt, but the only slits are the main top or side slit depending on the style ordered.
I have a Ti-Lite fixed frame manual chair. Would this work to protect my chair when it is on the crane? Trying to keep the snow and rain off of it as much as possible.
It depends on the physical dimensions of your manual chair. You will need to get the overall height, width, and length of your chair to compare. Once you measure around the chair, you should be able to find the compatible option by comparing them with the dimensions listed. Medium: 55"L x 18"W x 33"H. Large: 55"L x 28"W x 33"H. X-Large: 64"L x 33"W x 46"H.

I had searched for a cover like this for months. This one is substantial, and does keep the moisture off of my chair. Easy to use as well.

This is a very nice cover. It has the opening in the side that I needed for the transport lift and is very heavy material. An added feature (that I did not notice) is that it is gathered at the bottom and has attachment points for straps for road use.

Great it is useful to keep your power chair clean and when using on lift it is protected from the weather that get it wet.

Product is very well put together - we ordered the x-large for my husbands Quatium Edge PowerChair just to make sure - too big is better than too small - it is a bit big but leaves enough room to go under the chair wheels. Put bungee at bottom to hold and around the seat for wind control and all is good - we are very pleased with this product. Could not find similar style elsewhere.
