Single versus Dual Motors:
Either motor version will fit most bikes and trikes, so the choice is down to torque and expense. For the average adult cyclist; (let's say weighing 250 lbs. or less) riding a standard 2-wheel cruiser, mountain, or road bike, the single motor is probably their best choice for both economy and performance.

Adult trike riders or those of a more robust frame will benefit more from the dual motor kit. Twin electric motors spinning the front wheel will transfer that much more rotary energy to where you want it. Of course the dual motors cost a bit more to manufacture and that makes it a little more pricey.
