It also has the air filter, carburetor, fuel tank, muffler, and spark plug as shown. Additionally, see our category pages for specific 196cc 6.5 Hp "Honda-clone" engine parts.

  • Questions

Can i put this motor on my stand up gas scooter?? How fast would it go??
As long as the specifications match, it should be a good fit. As it is an electric start engine, it does require a battery. So there might be some modifications you will have to do in order to get it to mount properly. Top speed is dependent on a variety of factors, so we would be unable to provide an estimate on how fast it would go.
What (Battery) voltage needs to be applied to the starter to make it operate. Required battery voltage is not shown in the product description.
The manufacturer does not provide that information to us unfortunately, so it is not included in the description. As it is an electric start engine, it does require a battery. Modifications might be necessary in order to get it wired and hooked up correctly to a power source- there is some limited information included in an owner's manual that the unit comes with upon purchase.
Does this motor have a governor installed on it ?
Yes, this motor has a governor installed on it.
Why can't I find a motor with electric start and reverse with shaft on the left side????
The reverse functionality would be a separate gearbox/transmission mechanism.
Can I pull-start the engine if the electric starter somehow doesn't work?
Yes, this engine will also come with a pull start which can be used instead of the electric start if needed.
