The carburetor float is instrumental in regulating the amount of fuel in the carburetor float chamber. A faulty carburetor float will fail to float, which will admit too much fuel into the carburetor. In turn, this hinders or halts performance of the engine as a whole. The most cost effective solution to a faulty carburetor float is replacement.
