One of the main benefits of Go-Go scooters is their quick disassembly for storage or transport. The battery box docking receptacle for the Go-Go Elite Traveller (SC40E/SC44E), Elite Traveller Plus (SC53/SC54), and Ultra X (SC40X/SC44X) travel mobility scooters is the point of connection between the removable battery box and the scooter's base. Much like a common electrical outlet in a wall, this is where the battery box "plugs in" or comes apart when needed, allowing quick disassembly of the scooter's main components. In addition, the 3.0 amp fuse prevents a power surge from damaging the scooter's electronic controller.

Also note that this connector assembly is serial number specific. It is only applicable to Go-Go scooters manufactured before serial number S8019311100FV0 for 3-wheel units and serial number S8119311001FV0 for 4-wheel units.
