Monster Scooter Parts has a wide range of batteries; from 12 volt batteries to 6 volt batteries to even hard to find 18 volt battery packs for any type of scooter.

Our 12 volt batteries are compatible with all models of electric scooters, go karts, dirt bikes, and even mobility scooters. You will also find small 6 volt batteries for toy ride on products.

Monster Scooter Parts also stocks the 18 volt battery for use in the Minimoto Sport Racer. While this 18 volt battery is exclusively used in the Sport Racer, its compact size and light weight make it ideal in custom applications.

Monster Scooter Parts batteries are classified as OEM, Premium, or Custom:


OEM 12 volt batteries typically come directly from the scooter manufacturer and include a wiring harness for a "plug and play" fit.

Premium 12 volt batteries are high quality batteries manufactured to the same (OR BETTER!) specifications as OEM batteries and sold at a lower price for a better value. Premium 12 volt batteries typically do not include a wiring harness, but can be easily connected to your scooter by e-using the wiring from your old batteries. Premium battery brands may be our own proprietary MSP Battery, Rhino, Universal Battery, or MK Battery.

Custom battery packs are premium batteries packaged with a wiring harness for an OEM plug and play fit at a Premium battery price.

Please note that our OEM, Premium, and Custom classifications and warranties apply for all scooter batteries; including 6 volt batteries, 18 volt batteries, and 24 volt, 36 volt, and 48 volt battery packs.

How do I test my 12 volt battery cell, and how do I know if it should be replaced?

We recommend you charge your battery with your regular battery charger and let the battery sit for an hour prior to testing. A 12 volt sealed lead acid battery can be tested with any standard multimeter or voltmeter equipped with a digital output. Attach the meter’s leads directly to the positive and negative terminal of the battery cell, and test the direct current voltage (or "potential") of the battery.

Compare the voltage reading to the below table to determine the status of your battery. Any 12 volt battery cell below the level of 11.90 volts is considered fully depleted and should be replaced immediately.
